and what you can do about it

What comes to mind when you think of “aging”?
Is it a stage of growth and opportunity… or debility and
disdain? Research tells us that our beliefs about aging
impact how well and long we live. Learn where ageist
beliefs come from and how to identify them in our day-to-
day lives. Start to uncover and reset internalized negative
age beliefs, debunk age myths, and learn how to become a
paradigm-shifting, narrative-changing champion of aging
for yourself and future generations.

This topic is one we all need. It’s easy to focus on the
downsides of aging, but our speaker Kera Magarill, MA,
who is an Older Adult Behavioral Health Specialist with
Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services,
will provide a different perspective.

Pre-registration is required.
